I have received a letter which is not intended for me, what can I do?

Are you not, or do you not know, the person for whom the letter is intended? The letter may be intended for a previous occupant of your address.

If this person is still registered at your address, then it is possible that we, or other organisations, will contact you again. Check with your municipality whether this person is still registered at your address.
We kindly request you to leave the letter in the envelope and return it to us.

• Cross out the address details.
• Write ‘Moved – Return to sender’ on the envelope (or card).
• Post the letter in an orange mailbox or take it to a PostNL site. Then, tell us by phone or in writing that the person in question does not reside at the address we have on our records.
